Passion and vigilance for data quality are vital characteristics of the Data Operations Analyst and a requirement for success in this role. The Data Operations Analyst is responsible for applying tools and algorithms to identify trends and patterns in data. This person will communicate with stakeholders and conduct research to develop an understanding of relevant programs and requirements. The Data Operations Analyst will identify and collect data from various sources, evaluate the data to ensure that they meet analytic needs, and prepare the data for analysis. They will select, apply, and assess analytic models and techniques, as well as review and verify the results. They prepare reports and briefings and consult with stakeholders to communicate those findings.



The essential duties and responsibilities for this role include:



  • The primary point of contact for data configuration, transfer, and formatting of data for ActiGraph customers.

  • Work with technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve any data issues or enhancements that are required of the customer.

  • Capturing requirements from external and internal stakeholders.

  • Conducting research, data gathering, and technical reviews.

  • Consolidating information into cohesive and understandable correspondence or other written forms for use in management decision-making.

  • Expand and optimize our data and data pipeline architectures, as well as data flow and collection for cross-functional teams

  • Work with stakeholders including pharma customers, data scientist, and business teams to assist with data related issues

  • Understanding of Referential Database architecture and queries

  • Modify existing software to correct errors

  • Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance.

  • Display the ability and passion to ??go deep?? into the technology.

  • Establish and maintain technical credibility within the Software Development team.

  • Responsible for project estimation and deadlines.

  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Requirements



The ideal candidate will have:

  • A BA/BS degree in a related field or at least 3 years of relevant professional experience

  • Experience working in a 21CFR part 11 database environment

  • Experience working with different projects with different timelines

  • Familiarity with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) principles

  • Understanding of Good Clinical Data Management principles and types of data review

  • Microsoft Office and the Google suite of products experience
