What you will do:

As our Manager IT Business Partner for Trauma and Extremities, you will have responsibility for leading the development and management of business partnerships with the specified business and their leadership teams. You will formulate IT strategy and architecture in alignment with business strategy and objectives. Additionally, you will drive key programs and IT services, as well as innovation and continuous improvement in the application of technology to achieve financial, operational and customer service goals.

Drive IS value creation and customer satisfaction for the business

Build and maintain strong relationships with division leadership and act as a liaison between IS and the business

Ability to learn and understand business requirements, issues and processes quickly; develop and articulate a point of view

Participate in the development of business and IS strategic plans

Lead collaborative efforts for business case development

Positively challenge and question business partners on needs and benefits

Charter and prioritize program and project initiatives in conjunction with division leadership, including ERP change requests.

Assist in the development of metrics used to track value delivery

Identify opportunities where conflicts/synergies/redundancies exist between business capabilities and systems to improve IS effectiveness. Lead Cost Management Efforts for division

Reduction in interfaces, time to execution and system maintenance costs

Contribute to the budgeting process and lead and recommend Capital Expense Request (CERs) for division IS projects

Liaise with other IS stakeholders in project management, architecture and governance to ensure alignment and ensure a smooth integration of process output with the rest of the IS environment

Work closely with business analysts, project managers and/or other IS resources in providing IS services and initiatives to the business

Accountable for geographic execution of site services (local site tech support, end-user touches, etc.)

Accountable for delivering adequate business intelligence reporting capability to support the business

Communicate on projects by issuing regular status updates and managing communication within team, IS organization and business leadership and stakeholders.

Work with colleagues and other stakeholders to enable timely resolution of remediation actions.

Manage Performance reviews of IS team. Build and grow talent.

Perform other duties as directed

Build and maintain strong relationships with functional leadership

Mentor and manage the service & support team. Build and grow talent.

What you need:

Bachelor??s degree required

Bachelor??s in Business Administration or Computer Information Systems preferred

Minimum of 8+ years of professional work experience is required.

Knowledge (4+ years) of medical devices and/or pharmaceutical industry and basic knowledge of adjacent areas in terms of processes, organization, products and IS requirements are preferred.

Project management experience, working with internal and external cross-divisional team members, preferably with IS projects is strongly preferred.

Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization structure with significant emphasis on collaboration and persuasion, rather than relying entirely on command and control is mandatory for this position.

Strong communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with both divisional leaders and technical teams

Must have strong customer service skills and focus along with excellent communication, interpersonal, and negation skills

Must have prior experience leading or managing a team of technicians

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Driven to continually build knowledge and skills

$109,500 - $232,900 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 20%
