Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at American Express. As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a crucial role in shaping our company culture, managing talent acquisition, and ensuring the development and engagement of our employees. Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs, manage the recruitment process, and ensure the selection of top talent that aligns with our company's values and objectives.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management, providing guidance on HR policies, conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development plans.
  • Employee Engagement: Develop and execute strategies to enhance employee engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and work with L&D teams to create programs that foster skill development and career advancement.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring an inclusive workplace that values and respects all perspectives.
  • HR Compliance: Stay current with employment laws and regulations, ensuring company-wide compliance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar senior HR role, with a minimum of 5 years in progressively responsible positions.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex HR-related issues.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Demonstrated success in talent acquisition and retention.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
