JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Aerospace Engineering seeks to hire numerous Penn State students and non-students throughout the 2023-2024 academic year. We are looking to hire part-time research assistants and part-time teaching/learning assistants.
Research assistant duties include:
- conduct research and collect data
- interpret and analyze research data
- report status of research activities
- meet with research principle to maintain ongoing communication of research progress
- perform other duties as assigned by research principle
Teaching/learning assistant duties include:
- grade student assignments and exams
- respond to and return student work in a timely manner
- hold regular office hours
- attend lectures if required by faculty supervisor
- consultant with faculty supervisor to resolve administrative, grading or other issues related to the course
- perform other duties as assigned by faculty supervisor
