As a Senior Backend Developer specializing in Node.js at Vox.ai, you'll spearhead the development of our platform's backend systems. Your expertise in JavaScript, along with a deep understanding of Node.js and Express, will be crucial in building scalable, high-performance backend services that power our AI-driven voice assistance technology. This role demands a blend of technical prowess, innovation, and leadership to drive our backend architecture forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Backend Development: Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable backend services using Node.js and Express. Ensure systems are robust, secure, and capable of supporting high-volume, AI-driven functionalities.
JavaScript Expertise: Leverage advanced JavaScript skills to implement backend solutions, integrating seamlessly with the frontend for a cohesive user experience. Drive the adoption of best practices in JavaScript and backend development.
Performance Optimization: Diagnose and optimize backend systems to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability. Address challenges related to data processing, API integrations, and system architecture.
Collaboration and Leadership: Mentor junior developers in Node.js and JavaScript best practices, fostering a culture of excellence. Collaborate with frontend developers, machine learning engineers, and product teams to ensure alignment and seamless integration of technologies.
Qualifications:
Over 7 years of professional experience in backend development, with a focus on JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.
Demonstrated ability to build scalable, high-performance backend systems for web applications.
Proficient in RESTful API development, database management (SQL and NoSQL), and familiar with AWS cloud services.
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.
