Position: Purchasing Analyst (Remote)

Requirements
?? Leverage multiple data sources to build consolidated software inventories.
?? Experience with Excel and SmartSheets; familiar with Excel functions VLOOKUP, INDEX, IFERROR; creating pivot tables.
?? Assist and own data reconciliation based on guidance provided.
?? Track financial spend; investigate and report on variances as it relates to software spend
?? Assist Financial Lead with maintaining financial forecast as it relates to software spend, covering monthly, quarterly and full year views.
?? Assist Software Asset Management team with PO creation and receipting.
?? Connect with end user community to collect details and validated software utilization; includes communicating and responding to emails or connecting over MS Teams with software owners to discuss details.
?? Attend daily/weekly stand-up calls and provide progress updates.
?? Run various reports on software spend based on parameters provided.
?? Top 2 skills: 1) finance as it relates to software purchasing and 2) advanced skillset in Excel and SmartSheets.

Description ?? Purchase machinery, equipment, tools, parts, supplies or services necessary for the operation of an establishment. ?? Responsible for buying goods and services for use by their company or organisation. ?? Exercises moderate independent judgment with direction from supervisor. ?? Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. ?? Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, and other relevant factors. ?? Purchase the highest quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts. ?? Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services. ?? Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time and resolve problems related to undelivered goods.

Education/Experience
?? Bachelor's degree in a financial discipline - preferred. 3-5 years of finance-related experience required.

?? Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, negotiation skills and interpersonal skills.
?? Ability to analyse financial reports, price proposals and other technical data.
?? Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.
?? Ability to predict consumer buying patterns.
