Responsibilities
?? Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments in a remote setting.
?? Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to meet the individual needs of each student.
?? Adapt and modify learning materials to ensure accessibility.
?? Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to instruction as necessary.
Qualifications
?? Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
?? Valid Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Teaching the Visually Impaired.
?? Minimum of two years of experience working in a school setting.
?? Strong communication and organizational skills.
Position Details
?? PreK-12 student caseload.
?? Part-time, 16 hours per week.
?? Competitive compensation for both direct instruction and indirect hours.
?? 1099 contract position offering flexibility.
