Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain and deploy web applications
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional team to ensure applications align with the client requirements
- Oversee the performance of web apps and optimize to ensure functionality and performance
- Improve overall application development process and keep upgrading
- Carry out regular performance checks and monitor security threats
Requirements:
- Bachelor??s/Master??s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of experience in web application development (rare exceptions for highly skilled developers)
- Profound experience in developing... software using high-level programming languages including JavaScript, Python, .NET, PHP, Java, etc.
- Solid understanding of core programming principles, including design patterns
- Sound knowledge of web applications and web services, including APIs, CSS, HTML, jQuery, security principles, REST, SOAP, and web UI design
- Expertise in content management systems, including WordPress and Drupal
- Prior working experience in Windows and Linux environments
- Fluency in English language for effective communication
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) with a 4 hour overlap with US time zones
