Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Virtual Gifted Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in gifted education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging, differentiated learning experiences for elementary students. This part-time position involves teaching and supporting students in a virtual setting.
Key Responsibilities: ?? Develop and implement a curriculum tailored to the needs of gifted learners. ?? Create engaging lesson plans that promote critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills. ?? Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to enhance the learning experience. ?? Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed. ?? Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school administration to ensure student success. ?? Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in gifted education.
Qualifications: ?? Bachelor??s degree in Education, Gifted Education, or a related field (Master??s degree preferred). ?? New Mexico teaching certification with endorsement in gifted education. ?? Proven experience teaching elementary students, preferably in a gifted education setting. ?? Strong understanding of the needs and characteristics of gifted learners. ?? Proficient in virtual teaching tools and platforms. ?? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
