Job Title: IT Project Manager / Senior Business Analyst

Location: Remote (Candidates must be available to work within the Eastern Time Zone)

Clearance: NACI (Tier 1 federal clearance required; candidates must be willing to obtain federal government clearance)

Employment Duration: Immediate start; contract through September 2026

Education: Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) and a minimum of 8 years of consulting experience

Job Overview

We are actively seeking an accomplished IT Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst to join our esteemed team. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in steering cross-functional teams and facilitating comprehensive application modernization initiatives. Your expertise will be crucial in conducting Analysis of Alternatives (AoA), developing business cases, and collaborating extensively with stakeholders to assess and implement cutting-edge technology solutions. Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical capabilities are essential as you navigate an Agile-Waterfall hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities
?? Spearhead the development and execution of AoA projects from inception to completion, encompassing the gathering of business requirements, conducting technology assessments, comparing solutions, and formulating business cases and roadmaps for chosen technologies.
?? Oversee multiple significant cross-functional initiatives, establish new processes, and create RACI matrices, templates, and stakeholder requirements.
?? Standardize internal IT processes and utilize tools such as Jira to monitor tasks and manage project capacity and workload effectively.
?? Employ both Agile and Waterfall methodologies to oversee project scope, timelines, and requirements from concept to delivery, including the formulation of user stories, acceptance criteria, detailed project charters, schedules, test plans, and risk management strategies.
?? Facilitate communication among all stakeholders, lead meetings, and represent the project??s interests in sensitive discussions.
?? Collaborate with IT and functional leaders to enforce data-driven strategies and policies.
?? Provide oversight for internal processes related to software procurement, application portfolio management, and knowledge management, while assisting with UI/UX activities as needed.

Required Experience & Qualifications
?? Extensive experience in leading AoA projects, including market research, technology comparisons, and supporting business analysis as a Senior Business Analyst.
?? Proven capability to manage multiple complex projects while effectively prioritizing tasks.
?? Experience in briefing senior management on project status, coupled with the ability to articulate complex technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
?? Strong customer relationship management skills, with a focus on setting expectations, managing scope, and communicating progress.
?? Exceptional consulting acumen, complemented by outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
?? Capacity to work both autonomously and collaboratively, successfully managing cross-functional teams.
?? Proficient in balancing multiple projects and engaging with diverse stakeholders across departments.

Clearance: Candidates must successfully pass a U.S. federal government background check.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)
?? PMP certification
?? Familiarity with Section 508 Compliance and the IDEA Act
?? Knowledge of emerging technologies
?? Previous experience with federal government projects
?? Familiarity with Smartsheet and Google suite of applications
?? Certification as a Scrum Master or other recognized credentials in Agile project management
?? Strong foundation in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
