Key Responsibilities
?? Deliver core subject instruction to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a fully remote virtual classroom.
?? Maintain a full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, with an approximate commitment of 37.5 hours per week.
?? Begin immediately, with the position continuing until the end of the 2024-2025 academic year, with a strong potential for renewal in the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications
?? A Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
?? A valid West Virginia Teaching Certification or eligibility for certification is essential.
?? Demonstrated experience in teaching general education within a K-12 framework. Experience in virtual teaching is advantageous.
?? Must be able to secure professional liability insurance upon receiving an offer.
?? Familiarity with virtual learning platforms such as Zoom or Google Classroom is necessary.
?? Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
?? Ability to foster positive relationships with students and cultivate a dynamic virtual classroom atmosphere.
?? Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to various teaching scenarios.
