How can you make an impact?
As the Product Owner for the In Market K-12 Social Studies curriculum team, you will lead the creation and development of digital and print education solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including curriculum designers, educators, engineers, and marketers, to deliver comprehensive updates and enhancements to existing Social Studies program that aligns with educational standards, market-needs, and supports diverse student needs.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What you will be doing:
• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the K-12 Social Studies curriculum in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Act as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback, conducting market research, and ensuring alignment with educational standards and trends.
• Manage the product backlog, including prioritizing user stories, acceptance criteria, and guiding Agile teams for timely, high-quality feature delivery.
• Analyze product performance using data and analytics to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Support cross-functional efforts, such as proposals, RFPs, rubrics, and sales operations, ensuring alignment with the product-market fit and roadmap.
• Engage with educators and administrators to ensure the curriculum meets the needs of students, teachers, and institutions.

We are looking for someone with:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Curriculum Design, Business, or a related field, with 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the education or EdTech sector.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and familiarity with print and digital curriculum design, including K-12 Social Studies standards.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills to drive decision-making and product success.
• Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve product outcomes.
• Passion for education and a commitment to enhancing social studies outcomes for students.

The pay range for this position is between $70,000-$100,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
