We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team as a temporary, part-time or full-time Delivery Associates who are ready to deliver packages in Torrance and surrounding areas. Delivery Associates are expected to complete assigned routes on their own, and routes can consist of up to 300 or more packages that must be delivered within a 10-hour work shift per day. Delivery Associate$500 Sign On Bonus Requirements - Must work with us for 90 Days, Have 0 Call-Outs/No Call No Shows (Unless positive for Covid-19), and make Fantastic on the scorecard 6 weeks out 12 weeks. s operate Amazon-branded transport vehicles and other company-provided vehicles. The average working day can take up to 10 hours to complete, but ultimately it is expected that all packages on a day's itinerary are delivered by the end of the work shift regardless of whether it takes a 10-hour working shift and/or require overtime. On an average working day, you will be expected to deliver approx. 250+ packages. ?? You are also expected to help your team-mates with their deliveries, if you finish early and if they are running behind. Responsibilities: ?? Load, unload, prepare, inspect, re-fuel and safely operate company-provided transport vehicles, including, but not limited to, Extended Cargo Vans and Freightliner Step Vans. ?? Deliver packages on varying routes to numerous addresses, both business and residential. ?? Follow strict safety standards on and off the road. ?? Interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner. ?? Use handheld technology to manage the delivery process, and vehicle safety & maintenance procedures. Qualifications: ?? Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license. ?? Must be able to lift packages (up to 50 lbs) and be able to get in and out of a van quickly/often throughout a route. ?? Must be able to operate and navigate a delivery van. ??
