Position: Special Education Teacher Location: Virtual/Remote South Carolina Duration: Full Time; 2024-2025 School Year Caseload: 3 positions available. 2 Full Time and 1 Part Time. Middle School and High School. Key Responsibilities: ?? Provide Specialized Instruction: Develop and tailor lessons across subjects to meet the diverse needs and learning styles of students, employing innovative methods to support both academic and social development. ?? Develop and Implement IEPs: Create and regularly update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with clear goals and strategies to address each student??s unique learning needs, with a particular focus on the Transition section. ?? Support Behavioral and Emotional Growth: Implement strategies to manage behaviors, foster a positive learning environment, and help students build social skills and emotional resilience. ?? Collaborate with the Education Team: Work closely with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure a cohesive approach to student education, actively participating in meetings and maintaining ongoing communication. Job Qualifications: ?? Master??s degree in Special Education ?? Active Special Education license and teaching certificate ?? Minimum of 2 years of experience in a school setting ?? Experience with teaching virtually is preferred ?? Strong communication and interpersonal skills ?? Reliable computer and high-speed internet (Chromebooks and tablets are not permitted) Pay & Benefits: ?? 1099 Contract Position ?? Guaranteed Weekly Hours ?? Potential Tax Benefits ??
