Position Overview:
We are seeking passionate and knowledgeable AP Chemistry, AP Biology, or AP Environmental Science Teachers to join our remote team. The ideal candidates will have experience teaching AP courses in their respective subjects, a deep understanding of the curriculum, and a commitment to fostering student success.
Key Responsibilities: Teach AP Chemistry, AP Biology, or AP Environmental Science: Deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons that cover the AP curriculum and prepare students for the AP exam. Student Engagement: Utilize digital tools and interactive teaching methods to create a stimulating online learning environment. Assessment and Feedback: Design and administer assessments, provide timely and constructive feedback, and monitor student progress. Curriculum Development: Collaborate with the curriculum team to develop and refine course materials to ensure alignment with AP standards.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field from a top 101-500 globally ranked university. Experience: 2-5 years of experience teaching AP Chemistry, AP Biology, or AP Environmental Science. Online teaching experience is advantageous. Skills: Proficiency with online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom) and strong communication skills. AP Certification: AP certification or training in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science is highly desirable but not mandatory. Availability: Must be available weekdays during morning hours after 9 am EST to teach international high school students twice a week or more depending on enrollment.
