About the position
The Director of Finance for Maybelline and Essie at L'Or??al is a strategic role responsible for financial planning, reporting, and analysis within the Consumer Products Division. This position serves as a finance business partner, collaborating closely with marketing and other departments to ensure accurate financial management and compliance. The director will lead a high-performing team, manage budgets, and provide insights to senior management, contributing to the overall financial performance of the brands.
Responsibilities
?? Lead and manage a high performing finance team.

?? Influence and provide thought leadership across the Consumer Products Division.

?? Direct the coordination and administration of the annual business plan, budget, and three-year plan.

?? Prepare, analyze, and transmit divisional finance reports in accordance with corporate requirements.

?? Manage cost control and conduct budget meetings with departmental managers.
,
?? Serve as the primary support for all finance-related issues for operating departments.
,
?? Inform senior management about financial conditions within the assigned area.
,
?? Lead ad-hoc financial strategic projects and coordinate fund reallocations.
,
?? Liaise with project management, manufacturing, and accounting for financial activities.
,
?? Perform supervisory tasks including interviewing, training, and performance management.
Requirements
?? 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting, including supervisory/management experience.
,
?? Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economy, Business Administration, or Accounting required.
,
?? MBA or CPA preferred.
,
?? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
,
?? Excellent leadership, oral and written communication, and presentation skills.
,
?? Ability to multi-task and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

?? Expert-level experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
,
?? Experience with Power BI and visualization dashboards is a plus.
,
?? Financial reporting experience and use of SAP highly desirable.

?? Data analytics skills are a plus.
