SBA Loan Closer - Hybrid - Remote
An established regional bank is expanding its SBA team and is looking for an experienced SBA Loan Closer to join their dynamic group. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid remote work environment, allowing you to balance both in-office and remote responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process loan requests to ensure all necessary documentation and information are accurate and complete before moving forward with approval.
- Examine and approve title commitments, surveys, insurance, UCC searches for lien positions, and other third-party documents as needed to maintain compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with third-party inspectors on construction loans to ensure all aspects are thoroughly reviewed.
- Prepare SBA packaging forms with attention to detail to ensure accurate submissions.
- Build strong relationships and provide exceptional service to customers, attorneys, title companies, lenders, and their teams.
- Submit loan applications to the SBA for approval and prepare SBA Loan Authorization for PLP loans.
- Coordinate and schedule loan closings, ensuring that all loans are closed and funded in accordance with approved loan requests, bank policies, regulatory guidelines, and SBA procedures.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in SBA 7(a) loan closing.
- In-depth knowledge of SBA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
