Responsibilities
?? Schedule appointments accurately and meet patient needs by determining the best scheduling solution.

?? Verify patient coverage and eligibility, complete necessary paperwork, and assist with MyChart portal questions.

?? Answer telephone calls in compliance with departmental procedures and quality metrics, determining the nature of the call and routing it appropriately.

?? Document all outreach attempts and conversations clearly and comprehensively in the Electronic Health Record.

Requirements
?? High school degree or equivalent related experience required.

?? One year plus of customer service experience and proficiency in PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

?? One year plus of customer service experience in healthcare, including typing and scheduling application experience (EHR/EMR).
,
?? Ability to convey information to customers in a warm, clear, and concise manner.
,
?? Demonstrates positive customer service behaviors.

Nice-to-haves
?? Medical terminology knowledge preferred.
