Responsibilities
?? Provides technical assistance in drainage design and hydraulics evaluations.

?? Collaborates with other divisions and regional offices on project development.
,
?? Manages technical consultants and monitors their progress and work quality.
,
?? Conducts on-site engineering evaluations and provides technical support.
,
?? Represents the division at meetings and makes presentations.
,
?? Acts as a consultant project manager, preparing supplemental agreements and checking invoices.
,
?? Performs planning work such as plan reviews and calculations.
,
?? Utilizes project management principles to execute transportation projects efficiently.
,
?? Coordinates with others to develop and update integrated project plans and schedules.
,
?? Develops training courses and materials (for Engineer IV).

Requirements
?? Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related science accepted by TX PELS.

?? 4-7 years of engineering or transportation engineering experience depending on the level (I-IV).
,
?? Valid driver's license required for driving a state vehicle.
,
?? Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within six months of hire.

?? Safety Impact Certificate.
