What we are looking for
Tripoint Solutions is seeking a Data Analyst to support our federal customer
Location : Remote. The selected candidate must be currently located in, or willing to relocate to, a state supported by Tripoint Solutions corporate offices: AL, CO, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MD, MN, MS, NC, NJ, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA.
The successful candidate will be accountable to
?? Data analysis and reporting using the Microsoft Suite (Excel, Access, Power Point, and Power BI) and other business and business intelligence tools
?? Working with clients to elicit, refine, and document requirements
?? Participating in client data calls, working with clients to determine reporting requirements, and writing technical documentation
?? Verifying data quality to ensure accurate analysis and reporting
?? Gathering requirements for reporting purposes
?? Documentation of processes and methodologies
?? Planning, prioritizing and executing in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
?? Make recommendations for data products and gathering techniques that align with customer's business and analysis goals
?? Accomplishes department objectives by communicating job expectations and priorities, providing professional growth opportunities, and evaluating results
What you bring
Experience, Education & Training
?? 8+ years of proven experience in data analysis
?? 5+ years of experience managing data projects and teams
?? 8+ years of experience with Power BI is required
?? 3+ years of experience creating data flows and semantic models
?? Strong background working with Microsoft Excel
?? Experience in SQL query development and general database principles
?? Strong written and verbal communication on complex subject matters
?? Able to rapidly respond to changing requirements and priorities
?? Able to prioritize and multi-task across numerous work streams
?? Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
?? Ability to effectively manage ambiguity, anticipate problems, and take decisive action
?? Preferred experience with Department of Defense (Army Corps of Engineers)
Clearance Requirements
?? Active Secret Clearance Required
?? Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation
