As we expand our retail and foodservice presence, we are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to support growth and assist in managing brokers, key retail, and distributor relationships.

Position Summary:

The Sales Lead – Retail & Foodservice will play a critical role in supporting sales growth, assisting in managing brokers, key retail accounts, and distributor relationships. This role is ideal for a proactive, results-driven individual with experience in CPG, retail sales, and distributor coordination within the natural and specialty food industry.

Key Responsibilities: • Sales & Business Development: Assist in sales efforts with Whole Foods, Northeast grocery chains, and foodservice accounts. Identify and support new business opportunities. • Broker, Retailer & Distributor Coordination: Support the Sales Manager in maintaining relationships with brokers, key retail accounts, and distributors to ensure alignment with sales goals and promotional strategies. • Retailer & Account Assistance: Help maintain strong relationships with key retail buyers, supporting product positioning, merchandising, and promotions. • Day-to-Day Operations: Assist with product placements, promotional planning, inventory coordination with distributors, and help with order management by acting as a liaison between distributors and the operations team. • UNFI & KeHE Support: Work with the team to facilitate retailer expansion, assist with order fulfillment, and troubleshoot operational challenges. • Trade Promotions & Marketing Support: Collaborate with marketing to help execute promotional plans, in-store demos, and retailer-specific campaigns. • Sales Reporting & Data Tracking: Track sales performance, assist with trend analysis, and provide insights for continuous improvement. • Event & Trade Show Support: Represent Bunnie Cakes at industry events, trade shows, and retailer meetings to drive brand visibility and growth.

Qualifications: • 2+ years of sales experience in the CPG, natural, or specialty food industry, preferably with retail and foodservice exposure. • Familiarity with Northeast retailers, Whole Foods, and distributor contacts (UNFI, KeHE, etc.) is a plus. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • Willingness to travel frequently for meetings, store visits, events, and trade shows. • Must own a reliable car and be able to visit retail locations as needed. • Performance-based bonus potential • Opportunities for career growth within Bunnie Cakes
