Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous Item Processing Assistant to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. In this pivotal role, you will play an essential part in ensuring the operational efficiency of our esteemed financial institution.
Key Responsibilities
?? Process a range of check processing activities, utilizing channels such as Remote Deposit Capture and Branch Capture.
?? Reconcile and address out-of-balance transactions, implementing necessary adjustments to uphold accuracy.
?? Enter and reconcile electronic cash letter files while verifying computer output related to electronic transactions.
?? Provide support to both internal and external customers regarding check-related inquiries through phone and written communication.
?? Maintain compliance by performing all duties according to established procedures and guidelines.
?? Collaborate with colleagues by contributing to departmental reports and assisting other departments as required.
Required Skills
?? A minimum of one year of experience in Bank Operations or Retail Banking is preferred.
?? Proficient in word processing, database management, and spreadsheet applications.
?? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with customers and team members.
?? Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing tasks.
?? Flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
