GIS Automation Engineer/Developer-semiconductor, solar, display, or PCB manufacturing-ONSITE
About the position
We are hiring an application engineer to support product development, customer deployment, and services for automation products and solutions in the areas of manufacturing execution, factory performance, equipment performance, and advanced process control. Additionally, candidate will drive continuous improvement, help improve knowledge base management, and seek opportunities to build organizational efficiencies using technology, AI, machine learning, automation, and optimization.
Responsibilities
?? Implement Equipment Automation (EA) solution, integrated with other key factory and business systems, for our customers
,
?? Work with product development team to develop new solutions and products with to address market demands
,
?? Coordinate with customer's systems administration and IT teams on deploying, configuring, developing and deploying EA solutions.
,
?? Present technical information to customers including technical contributors and managers.
,
?? Create, evolve and implement EA application training and/or demonstrations
,
?? Project management tasks in accordance with APG standard PM lifecycle
,
?? Perform software installations at customer locations
,
?? Knowledge base contribution/management
,
?? Respond to customer requests for proposal (RFP) and requirements collection
,
?? Develop and deliver statements of work (SOW) and cost estimates for projects
,
?? Improve operations through continuous improvement standards such as: 8D, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5-Whys.
Requirements
?? Experience working in semiconductor or Solar or Display or PCB manufacturing as equipment automation developer is required
,
?? Familiar with SECS/GEM protocol and SEMI automation standards
,
?? Experience working with other factory automation and business systems such as MES, Recipe Management (RMS), and Advanced Process Control (APC)
,
?? Working proficiency using visual studio, C#, .Net, databases and use of SQL
,
?? Experience explaining technical and business concepts to Sr. management and managing diverse requirements among multiple stakeholders.

?? Software expertise - familiarity working with enterprise automation software running on Windows or Unix platforms with Oracle database

?? Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines
