ABOUT THE ROLE
Here is the problem we are looking to solve-
The company is growing. As CEO I am getting dragged down focusing on new product development, assisting fulfillment, doing personal coaching calls, and general growth related activities.
We have a team in place; copywriter, video editor, graphic designer, and website developer. The problem is they need a leader that is dedicated to content.
Right now I assign them tasks then they stop and wait for me to tell them what to do next. In this role you are going to lead the content team.
To get you started we have an enormous storage file of content that can be repurposed and posted across youtube and our social media profiles. And once you get into a posting rhythm you??ll be responsible for the creation of new content. Together we will drive growth and measure the results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with CEO to develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy to drive growth in user engagement, and conversions
- Think strategically and leverage the existing content team to publish engaging blog posts, manage social media content, and execute email marketing campaigns.
- Manage the content calendar and ensure timely delivery of all content pieces.
- Stay current with digital content trends, best practices, and platform updates.
QUALIFICATIONS
?? REQUIRED
- 5+ years of experience in content creation and management, with demonstrated success driving traffic growth across multiple digital platforms
- Proven track record of increasing organic traffic and engagement metrics, with specific examples of successful campaigns
- Experience in scaling YouTube channels (minimum 50K subscribers) and developing video content strategies that drive viewership
- Agency experience, either in-house or at a digital marketing agency, managing multiple client content needs
- Portfolio demonstrating successful content creation across various formats (video, written, social)
- Speak the language of SEO, Paid advertising, copywriting, content optimization, analytics and direct the team to deliver results
- Experience with Kit.com email marketing platform and proven success in improving open rates and conversions
- Experience in doing the tasks listed above and you can prove it with examples ?? PREFERRED
- Experience with video editing and production
- Copywriting experience
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Familiarity with marketing automation tools such as Kit, Thrive Themes, WordPress
- Experience managing freelancers or content contributors
- Understanding of paid social media advertising
