What we're seeking:
The Cyber Security Engineer is responsible for understanding security tool system architectures, implementing and documenting configurations, reviewing settings for relevance, researching and leveraging new features, maintaining operational efficiency, and providing additional support to other system users. Additional duties may include providing reporting, documenting security processes, and providing evidence as required for audit purposes. Security Engineering will work with other organizations to coordinate the usage and scope of these tools as a part of the Cyber Security team, reporting to the Manager of Security Engineering. In this in-person role, you will be required to report to our Dallas, TX location to complete your work responsibilities.

Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks
Testing and identifying application and hardware vulnerabilities
Effectively communicate to internal teams any requirements needed to keep tools running optimally
Continually assess Frontier environment and security needs against available and new features and communicate changes to all affected teams/users
Provide accurate and reliable data, reporting, and documentation

Salary Range: $75,000 to $190,000

What background you should have:
2-5 years of network engineering with an additional 2-5 years of NGFW administration experience
2-5 years of enterprise class security tool administration (DLP, SEIM, XDR, vulnerability scanning, etc)
Prior professional exposure to compliance regulated environments (PCI-DSS, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, etc.)
