Product Evangelist
About the position
The Product Evangelist at Heartland is responsible for promoting and showcasing products at industry conferences and events, developing strategies for product demonstrations, and creating engaging content to enhance product awareness. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment on product strategies, as well as gathering market insights to inform product development.
Responsibilities
? Evaluate and select products to feature at industry conferences and events, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.

? Develop and implement strategies for showcasing products, including identifying key features and benefits to highlight during presentations and demos.

? Create and manage a Center of Excellence for product demonstrations, including best practices for internal teams.

? Produce engaging external-facing content, including videos, presentations, and written materials, to enhance product awareness and drive customer engagement.

? Represent Global Payments at industry conferences and events, delivering presentations and engaging with customers, prospects, and industry partners.

? Collaborate with marketing and product teams to prepare for events, ensuring that all necessary materials and demos are ready and aligned with overall messaging.

? Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products to identify opportunities for product promotion.

? Gather feedback from customers and event attendees to inform product development and marketing strategies.

? Create a center of excellence for demos.

? Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and sales, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment on product strategies.

? Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas for product innovation based on market insights and customer feedback.
Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or equivalent field from an accredited university, or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

? Typically a minimum of 6 years of experience, including 3-5 years of B2B marketing of consumer-facing products, consumer financial services, or digital banking and payments services.

? At least 5 years of experience in a large (at least 5,000 employees) matrixed organization and a start-up organization.
Nice-to-haves
? Typically 8+ years of experience successfully launching and growing products within an eCommerce, FinTech or Paytech business.

? Demonstrated track record of creating compelling value propositions/narratives.

? Advanced quantitative and analytical skills with expertise in developing pricing and offers.

? Pragmatic Marketing Certification.
