Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated Virtual Assistant to join the Doordash team. The role is flexible, offering both part-time and full-time positions to accommodate various schedules.

As a Virtual Assistant, you will support our operations by handling tasks such as scheduling, data management, customer inquiries, and ensuring smooth communication across teams. You will be crucial in helping us deliver high-quality service to both customers and internal teams, while enhancing efficiency and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage emails, phone calls, and other communications efficiently.
  • Handle scheduling, appointments, and calendar management for various departments.
  • Assist with document preparation, filing, and general administrative duties.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via chat, email, or phone, ensuring excellent service and resolution.
  • Help with research, data entry, and processing information for internal use.
  • Assist with organizing virtual meetings, including sending invites and ensuring smooth execution.
  • Provide support to teams by completing ad-hoc tasks, such as content updates, managing reports, and other administrative activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when dealing with sensitive information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associates or bachelors degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, virtual assistance, or customer service.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Comfortable using communication tools like Zoom, Slack, and other virtual collaboration platforms.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
  • A reliable internet connection and a computer with a webcam for video conferencing.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a virtual assistant role, administrative position, or customer service is highly preferred.
  • Experience in managing calendars, scheduling, and handling client-facing communication is a plus.

Working Hours:

  • Flexible working hours depending on part-time or full-time schedule preferences.
  • Must be available to work remotely, with occasional meetings during standard business hours (9 AM to 6 PM).
  • Full-time employees are expected to work 40 hours per week, and part-time employees will work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Quick learner with the capacity to adapt to new tools and systems.
  • High level of professionalism, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data securely.
  • Proficient in task management and tracking software (e.g., Trello, Asana).
  • Comfortable in a remote work environment and able to manage time effectively without supervision.
