Experienced Quickbooks Online Bookkeeper Needed for Auto Repair Businesses
I am seeking a detail-oriented bookkeeper proficient in QuickBooks Online to manage the books for two auto repair businesses. Responsibilities include categorizing/verifying transactions, handling taxes (sales and payroll, not income tax), managing bill payments, and processing payroll through QBO.
This includes doing Payroll (full-service, start-to-finish): including processing paychecks (employees have direct deposit), managing payroll taxes, filing payroll tax returns, W2, benefits tracking/deduction/contributions, and handling Workers Comp Auditing. If you do not handle taxes or payroll filings, this is not a role for you.
Fluency in QBO is a necessity. The ideal candidate would have experience in the auto repair industry. I use the books to make financial decisions, so they will need to be kept up to date at least every week or so. I'm a straight shooter, I like to get to the point and get things done, so that will need be a fit. We have Hubdoc for receipts and bills, so you will either need to know how to use it or be able to figure it out (it's not that complicated). We are switching POS systems to Tekmetric, and the customer sales transactions will automatically integrate with QBO, so you'll just need to verify them with the bank accounts.
I'd prefer someone in California, as the state has some "special" regulations. If you're not, I would need you to stay up on California regulations.
