Programmer Analyst (51337)
Position Summary
The Programmer Analyst will be responsible for helping maintain and improve the company?s databases and data systems. They will maintain & build data structures, create intersystem connections & data feeds and distribution tools that streamline company operations and help deliver timely and actionable information. This position reports to the Director of IT and will work closely with the IT team to gain an expert understanding of the current data systems and connections. A project-focused IT department where changes and additions will be frequent with rapid turn-around times.
Primary Responsibilities
? Identify and build or improve data systems and data flows where needed.
? Solve immediate and long-term problems using data and programming solutions.
? Daily data processing and management for company IT systems.
? Build/maintain/refine Intranet tools & systems.
? Create efficiencies in reporting and workflows across the organization.
? Assemble & disseminate scheduled reports and data files.
? Provide backup support for IT Help Desk and IT team members
? Additional IT-related tasks as needed.
Education
Education & Experience
? Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology or related field
? 3 years+ experience working as an IT Programmer Analyst or similar role
? Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL database design & querying.
? Strong knowledge of and experience with .NET Framework and Windows servers
? Experience with or proficient understanding of ASP, VBScript, HTML/CSS/JavaScript and other programming/automation disciplines.
? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Ability to time manage and work both independently & collaboratively.
? Ability to proficiently execute job responsibilities independently on numerous assignments of critical nature.
? Ability to communicate complex ideas and work effectively with people at all levels in the organization.
? Ability and desire to broaden IT skill set on the job.
? Competent understanding of the retail grocery industry preferred.
