In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining awareness of emerging information governance and security challenges, data privacy requirements, and compliance laws. You will implement governance practices to drive maturity in alignment with leading security frameworks and educate others on integrating these practices into their data activities. Your expertise will be crucial in researching and evaluating software and hardware products to enhance operational processes, as well as providing support in compliance certifications such as SOC, SOX, PCI, and SEC. You will also develop and implement policies for the ethical deployment of AI/ML technologies, ensuring that issues like bias and privacy are addressed. Your role will involve creating guidelines to support data-related activities that drive business impact, interpreting government regulations, and facilitating strategy sessions for future initiatives. You will collaborate with business and technology leaders to bridge gaps in understanding and enhance operational processes, all while managing multiple projects as a project leader or subject matter expert.

Responsibilities
? Maintains awareness of emerging information governance and security challenges, data privacy requirements, and compliance laws.

? Researches and evaluates software/hardware products to enhance operational processes.

? Provides support in the submission of compliance certifications (SOC, SOX, PCI, SEC, NYDFS, etc.).

? Develops programs to support the efficient collection of evidence and submission of reports, filings, audits, and certifications.

? Researches emerging data trends to ensure security and governance practices can address new data types.
,
? Develops and implements policies for the ethical deployment of AI/ML technologies.
,
? Creates guidelines and practices to support data-related activities that drive business impact.
,
? Interprets relevant government regulations and facilitates strategy sessions for future initiatives.
,
? Coordinates and drafts new or revised strategies across stakeholders and negotiates for approval.
,
? Supports the development of business cases that promote business value realization.
,
? Assists in budget and capacity forecasting for strategic plans execution.
,
? Participates in industry conferences to gain knowledge on leading trends and technologies.
,
? Performs business analysis to root strategy and program plans in reality.
,
? Collaborates with business and technology leaders to bridge understanding gaps.
,
? Analyzes processes, identifies gaps, and specifies improvements.
,
? Develops and communicates approaches to enhance operational processes.

? Works on multiple projects as a project leader or subject matter expert.

Requirements
? Bachelor's Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or related field.

? Eight or more years of experience in multiple IT areas, including strategy development and data architecture.
,
? Advanced knowledge of multiple information security frameworks and models.

Nice-to-haves
? Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, or related field.

? Current designation and maintenance of CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CRISC, or similar certifications.
