Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to effectively managing an inventory of commercial auto and general liability claims by maintaining good production numbers, high customer service levels, and accuracy. The property damage claims adjuster will investigate, evaluate, confirm the applicable coverage and negotiate settlements of commercial auto and general liability claims.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
? Investigation of property damage liability claims including the taking of recorded statements from insureds, claimants and independent witnesses.
? Determination of comparable negligence relative to liability exposures; including total loss/total theft resolution.
? Retention of scene investigators as needed to determine liability and comparative negligence.
? Required to provide excellent customer service to insureds, claimants and vendors/body repair shops, and attorney offices.
? Responsible for follow-up with adverse insurers, claimants, and claimant attorneys for discussions of liability and settlement negotiation in exchange for a release.
? Responsible for responding/filing arbitration contentions for liability disputes with other arbitration members.
? Responsible for drafting/submitting reservation of rights, denial, and tender letters as applicable.
? Responsible for retaining vendors as needed to investigate property damage liability claims.
? Responsible for analysis of business income loss, loss of use, and rental reimbursement payment based upon estimated repair time for claimant vehicles and submitting/obtaining executed property releases for settlement.
? Must have the ability to work within a team environment and work effectively and collaboratively with other adjusters as needed to resolve exposures to the organization.
? Responsible for managing an average diary load of between 140-150 claim files in a timely, effective, and organized manner.
? Responsible for special projects at the direction of management as needed.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

Minimum two years of claims adjusting experience handling Automobile Property/Injury, Personal Injury, Medical Payment, Casualty or Property Insurance Claims - additional insurance claims experience is a plus.

Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of 1st and 3rd Party insurance claim investigations and processes for Automobile Property/Injury, Personal Injury, Medical Payment, Casualty or Property Insurance Claims.

Knowledge of property damage(Automobile and Structure), Bodily, and Personal injury to 3rd parties arising from liability situations.

Prior experience interpreting liability policy language and Florida state statutes is required. Ideal candidates should have a proven track record of determining applicable coverage and liability decisions based on facts and law presented as well as through additional fact-gathering and investigations.

Experience and Skillset:

Must have a valid Florida adjusters license ? 520/620.
The ability to develop cost-effective strategic plans.
Excellent time management and customer service skills.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
Experienced problem solving and organizational skills.
Extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated and disciplined.
Ability to perform with excellence in a paperless digital environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
