This is a remote position and we're accepting applications from anywhere in the U.S. We also have an optional office in Austin you can use if you live here or come visit. Knowledge of Texas, Colorado, and/or Georgia markets is preferred.

So we’re redesigning the homebuying experience. We’re a fast-paced real estate fintech startup that teams empowers agents to help homebuyers buy with cash. We buy homes on behalf of our partners’ clients with our cash, then the client buys the home back from us.

Founder and CEO Tim Heyl, a 10-year industry veteran and owner of one of the fastest-growing agent teams in the country, started Homeward in 2018. In fact, he bought our first customer’s home with his own life savings. Today we offer two services — Buy with cash and Buy before you sell — in Texas, Colorado, and Georgia.

We’re backed by top-tier venture investors, including Adams Street, Javelin, and LiveOak. We’ve raised more than $25 million in equity to grow the business, and have secured more than $100 million in debt to buy homes for our customers. Our leadership team includes experts from the real estate, mortgage, and technology industries.

About the opportunity

As part of our Offers Desk team you will have the opportunity to be hands on with our partner agents to review offers that our Clients are looking to make. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail oriented and enjoys putting the customer first. We are building a team to ensure our partners and clients are taken care of around the clock. We know how exciting buying a home is, let’s make sure we make it the best experience of a person's lifetime!

Note: This team works 7 days a week 8 am - 8 pm CDT

    Responsibilities include
  • Work a queue based set of Offer requests from our agents,
  • Review every offer written to confirm it has accurate data, within Homewards terms, and matches our contract requirements
  • Communicate with agents urgently and clearly on all required contract edits, getting on the phone when helpful to guide them through these
  • Log detailed and accurate notes, and keep systems and records up to date
  • Communicate internally with account stakeholders like the Customer Experience and Partner Lead teams
  • Review and sign other documents related to contracts like amendments and log them accordingly
    Qualifications
  • 2+ years real estate experience
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time-management and project management skills
  • An ability to remain focused and execute under pressure of deadlines and multitasking
  • An intrinsic desire to serve customers and provide a delightful, seamless experience
  • The drive to be apart of innovation and a growing team
  • Real estate license preferred
