Logistics PM II, Deployment Support Services
About the Role
- The DSS Logistics PM will play a critical part in the development, maintenance, and control of Standard Operating Procedures for key Tech Deploy logistics operations. They will provide day-to-day support to TD Robotics Deployment teams and proactively manage core aspects of deployment materials management.Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive logistics strategy and roadmap for NPI Programs, with a focus on streamlining onsite operations through hyper-care support.
- Drive high-impact cross-organizational continuous improvement projects focused on automation and standardization of processes, leading to improved efficiency and productivity.
- Proactively identify, report, and discuss network-related material issues for RDE NA Programs, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing disruptions.
- Review and report on material deliveries and inventory projections for deployment projects in North America, providing critical insights for informed decision-making.
- Track 3rd party performance with respect to materials management on a weekly basis, ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
- Verify gear readiness on the ground for all projects, confirming that all necessary equipment is available and accessible.
- Monitor critical material and problem service report dashboards, Supply Chain prioritization, and adherence to service level agreements.
- Support and guide deployment teams with material returns and disposition requests at the end of deployment projects, ensuring seamless execution.
- Respond to ad-hoc shipment requests and provide guidance to ensure continuity with carriers or internal transportation teams. About the Team
- The Deployment Support Services Logistics team delivers logistics services in support of Amazon Robotics Deployment Engineering (RDE) teams, enabling them to provide high-quality installations of Amazon products and systems worldwide. The team formalizes partner management, drives lean logistics operations, and owns and tracks Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive yearly improvements in 3PA productivity, inventory management, quality, and safety. The team leads cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives, driving meeting series with active 3PAs to ensure top performance.Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of program or project management experience
- Minimum 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle Agile, Coupa, SAP PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years of driving end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Minimum 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Experience working in an engineering organization
