Role Overview

The Product supports the end-to-end product lifecycle by coordinating development activities, managing samples, and ensuring seamless cross-functional communication between Design, Sales, Product Development, and Production teams. This role is critical in maintaining organization, tracking timelines, and supporting the execution of high-quality products that meet design intent and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

    Product Development Support
  • Partner with Design and Product Development to ensure seasonal styles are developed in accordance with timelines and design intent.
  • Assist with reviewing lab dips, strike-offs, trims, and proto samples for accuracy, quality, and color consistency.
  • Help prepare product documentation including style lists, tech packs, and approval submissions.
  • Support licensor approval processes and coordinate follow-up with internal teams.
  • Attend fittings and support timely communication of fit comments to factories.
    Sample Management
  • Receive, track, and organize all development, proto, and production samples.
  • Maintain sample inventory across showrooms, archives, and storage (including mock-ups, salesman samples, and inspiration/reference samples).
  • Distribute fit and sales samples to the appropriate departments, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Submit and follow up on sample requests with vendors and factories, managing timelines and updates.
    Design Operations & Administration
  • Support the Design team in administrative and operational tasks (e.g., board creation, copying, material requests).
  • Track and input data into PLM systems, ensuring accuracy across styles, materials, and trims.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for workflow, sample tracking, and cross-team coordination.
    Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree; fashion, product development, or related field preferred.
  • 1–2 years of experience in product development, design operations, or related roles (internships considered).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with PLM and Mac systems a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a can-do attitude.
  • Understanding development timelines, fit processes, and production workflows is a plus.
  • This a hybrid role, with 4 days in our Secaucus, NJ office
