- Responsibilities
- Verify insurance coverage for patients requiring in-home IV therapy. ,
- Perform benefit investigations and obtain prior authorizations for new and existing patients. ,
- Process patient prescription orders in a timely manner. ,
- Demonstrate excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers. ,
- Understand insurance carriers and concepts including drug cards, major medical benefits, and per diem coverage.
- Requirements
- Analytical and problem-solving skills. ,
- Attention to detail. ,
- Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word. ,
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required.
- Nice-to-haves
- Minimum one year experience working in a healthcare environment. ,
