About the company and owner
We are a small Colorado based company that has held installation and service contracts for a number of low voltage companies or providers for 15 years. The owner has hands-on field experience and is directly involved in day-to-day operations. He understands what technicians need to be efficient and effective and also the things that create roadblocks and unnecessary hassles for them. He has created a system that is streamlined and eliminates frustration as much as possible. His focus is on fair and professional conduct, excellence, and profitability. Because of his hands-on experience, he can easily identify who is bringing value to his company, and provides ample opportunities for these technicians to make money.

- We have several technicians contracted in each area and rather than micro-managing technicians, we will always send out our most trust-worthy, professional, and efficient technicians first. If you are this person, you will win the most business from us, you will make great money, and will not be micro-managed!
- Owner will provide direct support to technicians when appropriate, bringing valuable real-world solutions and an understanding of the challenges and dilemmas technicians face.
- The quantity of technicians in a given area will be a balance between technician availability and customer responsiveness.
- Contractual pay is based on completed work orders only with technicians making approximately $60-$80 per hour.
- Company will provide all required installation materials and equipment. The materials will be provided to the technician, at no cost to the technician and remain the property of the company.
- What is expected of you
- Background check and technical certification process will be completed prior to commencing field work.
- You will have flexibility, creativity, and the ability to work at your own pace. You will email your availability at least 2 weeks in advance to the owner.
- The technician will work from home and self-dispatch to coincide with customer expectations for arrival and work completion. This will require phone calls and text messages to customers and scheduling within our system.
- We have many work orders coming in on a regular basis. This could potentially be an on-going source of revenue for you.
- You will be required to maintain secure storage for equipment. This can be in a storage facility or in-home. Signature is required for deliveries- It is highly advisable that the storage location chosen has the ability to receive deliveries on technician behalf. You will be financially responsible for any lost or stolen equipment.
- Because you are an independent contractor, you will be responsible for your own expenses, including but not limited to:
- Maintaining reliable transportation in order to get to and from job-sites
- Purchasing and maintaining necessary tools to complete installations
- Maintaining professional liability insurance (approximately $500 per year)
- All fees or licenses required to run a small business
