- Responsibilities
- Safely lift, load, unload, and transport baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft. ,
- Guide incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions to ensure timely connections. ,
- Safeguard cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather. ,
- Operate ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in congested areas. ,
- Use baggage scanners and computers to ensure accurate routing of baggage to destinations.
- Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. ,
- At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States. ,
- Valid driver's license. ,
- Proficiency in English. ,
- Ability to pass a physical ability test (PAT). ,
