- Responsibilities
- Host virtual meetings with clients who have already requested insurance information
- Guide clients through insurance options and help them choose the most suitable coverage
- Follow up with company-provided leads to build trust and close new business
- Stay current on product offerings, industry changes, and compliance guidelines
- Participate in online training sessions and ongoing coaching to sharpen your skills
- Take ownership of your schedule and workload as a self-driven independent contractor
- Represent Afortus with integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to client care
- Qualifications
- You either have — or are willing to obtain — a valid life insurance license (we’ll help guide you through the process if needed)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect well with others
- Driven, coachable, and focused on reaching goals
- Comfortable using digital platforms for virtual appointments, ZOOM, and client follow-ups
- Capable of working independently and managing your time effectively
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is a bonus, but not a requirement
- Professional, ethical, and genuinely motivated to make a positive impact
- Must have a dependable internet connection and access to a computer or laptop
