Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ancillary Coordinator to manage and coordinate ancillary medical services for injured workers. This role involves working closely with providers, case managers, claim adjusters, and vendors to ensure seamless scheduling and delivery of services such as diagnostics, physical therapy, durable medical equipment (DME), and other ancillary needs.
- Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Ancillary Services: Schedule and track diagnostic tests, physical therapy, DME, and other necessary services for injured workers.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with ancillary service providers, ensuring timely scheduling, cost-effective solutions, and high-quality care.
- Authorization & Compliance: Obtain approvals from insurance carriers and adjusters while ensuring all services align with workers' compensation guidelines.
- Communication & Case Coordination: Serve as the point of contact between providers, case managers, adjusters, and injured workers to facilitate smooth patient experience.
- Data Entry & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of referrals, authorizations, appointments, and follow-ups in the company's systems.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot delays or challenges in service coordination to ensure continuity of care.
- Assist with WC intake and scheduling where necessary.
- Qualifications
- Experience:
- 2+ years in workers’ compensation, healthcare coordination, case management, or a related field.
- Familiarity with ancillary services, medical terminology, and workers’ compensation processes preferred.
- Skills:
- MUST be bilingual in Spanish.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in EMR systems, scheduling platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Education:
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is a plus.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
