About the position
- This position will be in reservations and customer support, with a focus on customer and travel agent inquiries, and sales and reservation inquiries and assistance. Day-to-day activities will include:
- Answering questions about the tours and services we offer.
- Assisting clients and travel agents who wish to make reservations via phone and email.
- Sales, in the form of providing in-depth explanations of our product and upselling where appropriate - we do not do outgoing "cold-call" sales.
- Answering email inquiries from travel agents, customers, third parties, etc.
- Answering phone calls from clients seeking assistance while on the ground in Europe.
- Keeping customers and reservations meticulously organized, between client correspondence and the company's internal systems.
- Maintaining seamless communication with the Rome team to ensure tours and services can run as promised.
- Working with the Rome team to resolve last minute issues when they arise; this may include ticketing, transfers, calling clients on the ground, etc.

- Strong digital proficiency and general computer skills
- A college degree
- Experience in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office and Slack
- A professional background in the travel industry is not necessary, but experience traveling and a love of travel will be beneficial!
