Job Overview
As an LPN, you will provide direct patient care and work alongside a diverse team of healthcare professionals, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for our residents. Your expertise and compassion will be instrumental in shaping the care experience.
- Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care, including the administration of medications and monitoring of vital signs.
- Create and implement personalized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and therapists.
- Uphold resident safety and comfort by adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a hygienic environment.
- Educate residents and their families on health-related topics, fostering an understanding of care processes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in resident medical records for continuity of care.
- Required Skills
- Current and unencumbered LPN license in the State of South Dakota.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathetic and patient-centered approach to care.
- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited LPN program.
- Experience in long-term care or a similar healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
