Cooper's summer internship program offers college students the chance to discover what it's like to work at a leading financial services organization. The Data Governance intern will gain firsthand experience with how data is managed, protected and leveraged to drive business decisions.
Data Quality Management- Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data throughout its lifecycle.
Data Security and Compliance- Implementing measures to protect data from unauthorized access and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., Data Stewardship- Overseeing the proper management and use of data, including defining data policies and standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration- Working with various departments to align data governance initiatives with organizational goals.
Monitoring and Reporting- Regularly reviewing data governance practices and reporting on their effectiveness.
Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university or have graduated within one year of start date (June 2025)
Majoring in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Experience with data analysis
Knowledge of data governance principles, data management, and related practices.
Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance standards.
