Verizon Consumer Group - Omni Planning & Ops Orchestration Executive Business Intelligence - Reporting and Analytics team, delivers value to Verizon through business intelligence reporting and analytics by driving insights to actions. The Executive Business Insights team within Omnichannel Analytics (OCA) is leading the advancement of analytics maturity from understanding the past to predicting the future. This position is on the Executive Business Insights team within Omnichannel Analytics (OCA) team which is responsible for providing governed KPI's to the appropriate channels utilizing a host of various tools.

Develop analytical views of data utilizing various BI tools including but not limited to:

Tableau

QlikSense

Looker

Proprietary web-based applications

Connect various data locations in order to stage data before visualizations.

Strategize, oversee and document multiple projects with evolving timelines in various stages of completing.

Resource planning and defining scope on new initiatives and existing projects in various stages of completion.

Lead collaboration with business leads and IT to execute all visual design stages from concept and requirements to final hand-off to business unit end-users.

Conduct and ensure user acceptance testing with IT for database and applications prior to production release to include Software testing, quality assurance, and solution certification & approval.

Establish and promote Verizon brand standards and best practices and across business units and IT.

Document and demonstrate solutions by developing wireframes, production documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and/or models.

Review existing visualizations to assess existing opportunities for improvement within the business and to drive a best in class User Interface solution.

Work with large sets of data to build proper visualizations and setups for consumption by users that are diverse in their level of complex data comprehension.

This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.

You are good with numbers and you love to dig into data to find the story. Designing reports and dashboards is a fun afternoon for you. You are detail-oriented and know how to focus on what really matters. You understand the importance of accuracy in data analytics and reporting. You are a self-starter and a multi-tasker who can work independently under tight timelines. You want to make an impact by providing the data that will help improve the experience of our customers. You enjoy aligning various work streams to ensure the same vision and goal is achieved.

You'll need to have:
• Must be a current participant of the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program or of the Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program Cohort 1-2023
• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Three or more years of relevant work experience.
• Strategic Planning experience.
• Experience with Tableau, Qlik, Looker,
• Experience with investigating and solving complex technical problems and data discrepancies.

Even better if you have:
• Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, information systems, analytics/business intelligence, engineering, mathematics, statistics, other related technical disciplines.
• Leadership experience.
• Experience with Business Intelligence systems. Worked in the identified systems to provide diagnostic self-serve information to clients and business units.
• Experience with Teradata (Data Warehouse) data domains and data.
• Ability to lead and facilitate cross functional teams of managers and directors to gain consensus and execute to deliver results.
• Call Center and Digital experience.
