Fast growing accounting / consulting firm seeks a Full Charge Bookkeeper for our location in our Long Island office. We are seeking a self-motivated, ?roll-up your sleeves?, enthusiastic professional with a genuine desire to embrace this challenging career opportunity to work in a team-oriented environment, while taking on a variety of assignments. This individual will be responsible for the following functions for our clients: ? Entering bank transactions and preparing reconciliations, ? Entering vendor expenses, ? Preparing various account reconciliations, ? Payroll entries, ? Maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger, ? Assist with monthly financial closings, ? Assisting with accounting procedures, ? Assisting with financial projects, ? Assist in preparing financial statements for audit, review and compilation engagements. Qualifications: ? At least 3 years working experience ? Must have strong working knowledge of QuickBooks ? Must have experience with MS Excel ? Working knowledge of NetSuite a plus ? An understanding of accounting principles ?
