Required Skills and Experience *

Qualifications...

• High School Degree Required; Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, and/or Paralegal Certification would be preferred.

• Some legal experience (especially immigration) would be beneficial, but not required.

• Ability to analyze documents for accuracy.

• A client service mindset, attention to detail, and desire to achieve a high level of productivity.

• Experience using various computer systems, including Microsoft Office (excel, word, powerpoint).

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.

Job Description *

Responsibilities:

• Support the Lead Immigration Specialist, in partnership with outside immigration counsel for U.S. non-immigrant visa filings including, but not limited to, H-1B, L-1B/A, and TN visas, and US permanent residency cases including, but not limited to PERM, I-140 filing, I-485/AOS.

• Initiate cases into our immigration counsel’s database and create reports from that database.

• Perform a range of H-1B CAP lottery case related duties, such as tracking, monitoring, and prioritizing follow ups with pending requests related to the H-1B CAP lottery.

• Assist our legal vendor in gathering associates’ information to ensure the vendor’s proprietary case management system is current.

• Assist with various administrative tasks, such as filing documents in proper order.
• • Depend on others for instruction, guidance, and direction.

$26/hr to $29/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
