This includes teaching in classrooms, labs, clinical and online settings as well as outside the classroom during campus and student activities. Qualifications Qualifications: Must have current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Tennessee. Bachelors in nursing required; Masters strongly preferred a. If a less qualified teacher is employed because a qualified candidate is not available (i.e. candidate has an associates degree in nursing) they shall function as an assistant under the direct guidance of a faculty member fully qualified in the specific clinical area. Must have sufficient experience to demonstrate professional competence. Must meet approval of the Board of Nursing to hold the position. Must meet all regulatory and corporate qualifications.
