Day to day as a Route Relief Driver

As a Full-Time Route Relief Driver at Viking Coca-Cola, you'll embark on an exhilarating journey every day! Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to adhere to DOT regulations, ensuring safety is always a priority. You'll engage with customers, collect payments, and handle returns, all while maintaining a professional atmosphere. Requirements for this Route Relief Driver job

To excel as a Full-Time Route Relief Driver at Viking Coca-Cola, you'll need a blend of essential skills and qualifications. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, along with a valid Class A Driver's License . Mastery of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques is crucial to ensure safe and responsible operation of the vehicle. Strong written and organizational skills will enable you to complete paperwork clearly and accurately, while excellent communication abilities will help you build rapport with customers and coworkers alike. Additionally, a solid grasp of basic math skills is necessary for precise invoicing and financial transactions.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Requires a valid Commercial Driver's License
• Satisfactory completion of Motor Vehicle Check required according to the Vehicle Safety Policy.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.
• Requires written and organization skills to complete paperwork in a decipherable manner.
• Requires strong communication skills.
• Requires basic math skills for invoicing.
