IT Systems Analyst - EpicCare AMB, Community Connect Team (remote)

About the position

The IT Systems Analyst - EpicCare AMB position at Sentara Healthcare is a full-time remote role focused on supporting and optimizing EpicCare Ambulatory applications for non-Sentara owned physician practices. The analyst will be responsible for application builds, upgrades, and enhancements, as well as providing day-to-day support and problem resolution. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities
?? Support and optimize EpicCare Ambulatory applications for non-Sentara owned physician practices.

?? Perform and document workflow assessments to determine functional requirements for optimal application utilization.

?? Develop system test plans and conduct testing of software upgrades and patches.
,
?? Provide daily on-call support for application-related issues.
,
?? Analyze business and clinical needs, evaluate software releases, and recommend process optimizations.

?? Oversee smaller-sized projects or components of projects related to software application releases.
,
?? Coordinate implementation or project planning around software application releases and third-party integrations.

Requirements
?? Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
,
?? 3 years of relevant experience with a degree or 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
,
?? Current EpicCare Ambulatory application certification is required.
,
?? Helpful but not required to have current Epic Prelude application certification.
