Position Type: 1099 Independent Contractor (Part-time: 4 hours/week, with potential to increase)
About the Opportunity:
Avel eCare Specialty Clinic is seeking an experienced Gastroenterology/Hepatology Specialist to provide virtual consultations and follow-up care to our diverse patient population via a state-of-the-art telemedicine platform. Key Responsibilities: ?? Provide on-demand consultations via phone or video to partner clinics ?? Conduct scheduled specialty consults and follow-up appointments ?? Collaborate with onsite clinical staff to coordinate care for patients ?? Review patient results and make tailored recommendations ?? Offer provider-to-provider support through phone consults

Qualifications: ?? MD or DO degree required ?? Minimum 3 years of experience in Gastroenterology and/or Hepatology ?? Telemedicine experience preferred, but not required ?? Active DEA certification and Board Certification in Gastroenterology/Hepatology ?? At least one unrestricted state license (any state in the U.S.)
