Duties

?? Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
?? Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise.
?? Maintain accurate records of patient accounts, including payments received and outstanding balances.
?? Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation for billing purposes.
?? Stay updated on changes in medical billing regulations and coding practices.
?? Assist with medical collections as needed, ensuring adherence to ethical standards.
Requirements
?? Proficiency in medical billing processes and procedures.
?? Experience with medical coding systems, including ICD-10.
?? Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and billing software.
?? Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
?? Ability to communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
?? Previous experience in medical billing or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
